「朋友们读绘本」Olivia

ainy days, Olivia likes to go to the museum.

那时候的时候，珍妮更喜欢去博物馆。

She heads straight for her favorite picture.

她赶往她最更喜欢的那幅速写。

Olivia looks at it for a long time.

珍妮看着它看了很久。

What could she be thinking?

But ,there is one painting Olivia just doesn't get.

但那儿有一幅速写, 珍妮一直一定会能理解。

"I could do that in about five minutes," she says to her mother.

“我五分钟内就能速写显现出一幅这样的速写，” 她对阿姨说。

“in + 时间” 有两种含义。1) 一般情况下声称 “在某段时间内”，

如 There are 365 days in a year (一年有三百六十五天)。

2) 如果与将来时连用，则声称 “… 后”，

如 I'll be back in a few days (我几天后就回来)

As soon as she gets home she gives it a try.

回来后她就这样花钱了。

As soon as 一…就…

Time out.

时间到。

After a nice bath, and a nice dinner, it's time for bed.

舒舒服服地洗完澡后，她美美地吃完了晚饭，然后睡时觉。

But of course Olivia's not at all sleepy.

"Only five books tonight, Mommy," she says.

但是珍妮当然还一定会睡时。

“阿姨，常在就只念五本书，” 她说

"No, Olivia, just one."

"How about four?"

"Two."

"Three."

"Oh, all right, three. But that's it!"

“不，珍妮，只讲一本。”

“4本行吗？”

“2本。”

“3本。”

“好吧，那就3本。但只有这些！”

When they've finished reading, Olivia's mother gives her a kiss and says, "You know, you really wear me out. But I love you anyway."

当故公事都停下来的时候，珍妮的阿姨派了派她说 “你告诉吗，你真是让我累晕了，但我还是很爱你。”
